Betrayal
by Harold Pinter
directed by Jeremy Aluma

April 9 – 15, 2018
at The Theatre School at DePaul University in Room 305
2350 N. Racine Avenue Chicago, IL 60614

starring…
Vincent Banks as ROBERT
Matthew Elam as JERRY
Jessica Morrison as EMMA

and Joey Walsh as WAITER

A sharp look into the nature of romantic relationships, Betrayal starts in 1977 when longtime lovers Jerry and Emma meet after her marriage to her husband Robert dissolves, and then backtracks all the way to 1968 when their affair first began. As the years spin backwards, a complex web of secrets about the trio emerges and calls into question the nature of their intimacy – as friends, as partners, as spouses. A cautionary tale, Betrayal poetically explores love, lust, and time.
